Sugarwise were recently at a Parliamentary meeting chaired by Keith Vaz MP on Diabetes, Obesity and sugar, with representatives from the Co-op, Sainsburys, Café Nero, Innocent and Planet organic. Sugarwise proposed that their Kitemark could be a starting point for the industry to tackle the problem of Obesity and Diabetes.

Rend Platings founder of Sugarwise will be speaking at Parliament in Westminster on Wednesday 25th May. Rend will be supporting proposals to decrease VAT rates for healthy kitemarked products along with other incentives to improve the availability of and demand for healthier products.
